1. What are the raw materials used by you in the manufacturing of cylinders ?
Commonly used Raw Materials are :
Manganese, Steel, Chrome, Moly Steel
2. What is the maximum &minimum size of cylinders you manufacture?
1.0 ltr. to 280 ltr. water capacity.
3. Do you carry standard products ?(FOR Domestic Customer)
Yes.
4. Are you I.S.O. 9000 certified ?
Yes. EKC is an ISO 9002 company certified by BVQI.
5. Can You support new customer efforts to design &certify composite cylinders ?
Yes.
6. How many employees do you have ?
250 nos.
7. Should the cylinders cap/guard is an important accessories of the cylinder ?
Yes, as per clause 7.1 of I.S. : 7285 - 1988 .It is also a statutory requirement under Rule 37 of the gas cylinder rule 1981 to provide the valve protection cap to each cylinder , you are advised to ensure that you procure the cylinder duly fitted with approved type of valve, protection cap/ guard. COMMERCIAL
1. Does a valve attracts excise duty ?
Yes, Valve is fitted on the cylinder & despatched from Tarapur / Aurangabad works, which attracts excise duty.
2. Is excise duty payable on cylinder cap / guard also ?
Yes, excise duty is payable on cylinder cap & guard also, despatched from Tarapur / Aurangabad works.
3. Is Octroi applicable ?
It is depends upon the final destination, eg. cylinders coming into Mumbai / Poona / Aurangabad cities are liable for Octroi. You are requested to check up with local Municipal Authority.
4. Is Road Permit / way bill essential for despatches ?
Some states such as Orissa, Assam , Bihar, west Bengal & U.P. requires road permit/way bill for entering the goods to their States. You are requested to check up with states tax department.
5. What are E.K.C. delivery terms ?
Delivery terms for domestic customer : EX WORKS (Tarapur/Aurangabad) For Export : F.O.B. Mumbai (India).
6. Is it necessary that the 'C' Form accompanies the P.O. ?
The 'C' Form must accompany the P.O.. Your order should also indicate the CST Number without fail. Without CST Number the transport company does not accept cylinders for transportation.
7. What are your Payment Terms ?
For DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS Payment terms are : 30% advance along with order and balance against inspection but before despatch. For Export, Payment terms are : Through Irrevocable Letter of Credit, at sight, drawn on our favour.
8. Who is your banker ?
Our banker is : ICICI bank, Free Press House Free Press Journal Marg, Nariman Point, Mumbai - 400 021. India.
